Growing up with many passions Kaitlyn never quite knew where she fit. While completing her BSc in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology alongside the Fountain School of Performing Arts Acting Program, she wondered if there would be a space where all her passion could exist at once. Instead of waiting for a place, she decided to make one herself.
Bloom's Misson
The Bloom Theatre Collective is dedicated to producing stories worth sharing, particularly those that shine a light on under-represented groups, feelings, and narratives. We aim to learn, explore, educate, and grow with each project we undertake. While we focus on supporting and funding new works from emerging artists, we also value stories that have come before and are still relevant today. It is our mission to create art that combines light and dark, funny and serious, art and science, eliminating the unnecessary divisions that exist in our world. Through not limiting what art can be, we hope to witness a beautiful garden of new theatre that inspires and connects people in ways never seen before.
Though the world may be coated in concrete, there will always be flowers that bloom. We are simply another flower.
